2012: NASA sees start of “new solar cycle”

NASA today published a forecast for a “big and intense” new solar cycle in 2011 or 2012, which its suggests will wreak havoc on satellite GPS and telecommunications, power grids and air traffic.
NASA says the next solar cycle, Solar Cycle 24, “could make itself felt as never before.”
We are now at the end of Solar Cycle 23 (see graphic, and excerpts, below), according to the U.S. space agency.

I just wonder how long it is going to be before the mainstream media start running with the whole 2012 thing…
The history channel has already made about 3 different documentaries about 2012 and the Mayan prophecies, sneaking it in there.
Very interesting how many “coindences” seem to be predicted to happen on 2012. I was watching the history channels show the universe and they were discussing the sun and how its been predicted to have a large flare on 2012 and maybe change earths magnetic field. Personally I believe the 2012 predictions to be already happening but they will climax on the winter solsistice 2012.
It’s just manipulation and to make people more comfortable for magnetic artificial change made from space stations(they CAN change suns energy output).
We are at the end of Solar Cycle 23?!

i heard Alan Watt say that, according to the elite’s puplished plans, 2012 is the year the global government, run by the United Nations, will be put into place. the Kyoto Protocal expires in 2012 and Ban Ki-moon is pushing HARD now for a new treaty to replace it. this will likely change life as we know it comletely if the elite have their way. the U.K. Ministry of Defense document, ‘DCDC Global Strategic Trends Programme 2007-2036,’ also brought to my attention by Mr. Watt, predicts that the main security issue during this period will be responding to mass public uprisings, flash mobs and general helter skelter. i think this will be in response to the major restrictions that will be placed on energy consumption. 2012 will be an important milestone in ‘The Great Work’ of the global elite much like the watershed of 2001.

Hmm. You say there will be no doomsday. Yes I wish you know what you say. I think there are too many coinsidencies about that 2012 year. Nostradamus, Maye calendar cycle ending, Sun’s max activity and solar storm, china Dragon calendar. Maybe solar storm during 2012 will destroy US army satelites. What a stupid thing. But for Iran or china like countries it may be a real good chance to begin a war !!
To put the whole Climate Change issue into perspective vis-a-vis the Peak Oil Crisis, everyone needs to ask themselves, their associates, all sitting elected officials and those seeking office, especially the office of President of the United States, “What is more threatening in both the long and short terms, a beneficial 1 degree F rise in average world temperatures over the past 100 years, or a 1 percent decline in world oil production over the last 100 weeks - with steepening declines forecast? Furthermore, can our economy better deal with declining fuel inventories in an environment of persistent warming, or in an environment of declining average temperatures over the next several decades, the most likely scenario given the highly reliable solar inertial motion (SIM) model forecasts of climate change?” Solar cycle # 24 will tell the tale. The problem is not AGW. The problem is the end of cyclical warming coincident with the onset of Peak Oil. And who would pay Al Gore $300M to convince us we humans are responsible for Global Warming, that it is bad and we must pay dearly to stop it? Pay a tax and change the weather? I don’t think so.

i think its alot of lies because GOD is the only one who knows when the world will end. and if mass destruction was to happen then the world would have to end wouldnt it so think about it and GOD himself said no one knows the day or hour i shall return so think about that
i am excited for this, because i believe in the power of the mind. and whether or not anything really is going to happen, the fact that the entire world is acknowledging 2012 as important, will manifest change by itself. all this is just “proof” that will help get the ball rolling, but the fundamental change is coming in human consciousness. and many people are already preparing themselves. We do not need the gov anymore, we are all powerful. we are people! we have brains and the means to change. i’m excited for this…
